These beautiful shrubs are reason enough for having a shaded area in your garden.

For a spectacular display of colour in the shade, it’s hard to beat azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons. These plants don’t like full sun or extra heavy shade, but they are ideal in the shadow of large trees, on the sheltered south side of a wall or under a pergola.

Azaleas are actually just small varieties of rhododendrons. They can be either evergreen or deciduous and usually grow no more than 1-2 metres in diameter. Azaleas grow well throughout temperate Australia, but extremes of humidity are a problem in the dry inland or humid north.

They all have a heart linked to a circulatory system, which transports blood and oxygen around the body, a central nervous system, digestive system and a sexual reproductive system.

Learning anything about animals will not only help you get a job, and experience; but it will more importantly, help you keep the job, progress in that job, and develop a sustainable career.
Getting qualified alone is never going to guarantee a sustainable career. Learning can come from doing formal courses or informal in house training within your job, training with an external agency, taking a course and so on.
It is important to understand the differences between different types of courses; and to choose what you study according to what will help your career the most.
